因凡蒂诺获20国足协公开支持！拉拢墨西哥：连任就让你进南美足联

根据墨西哥媒体报道，国际足联主席因凡蒂诺为争取墨西哥足协支持，承诺自己连任之后将帮助墨西哥退出中北美足联，加入南美足联。
推行世界杯股权出售计划失败之后，因凡蒂诺陷入下台危机，英国媒体不断曝光他的丑闻，欧足联、亚足联、北美及加勒比海足联更是发布联合声明，希望他能够“体面”离开。
知名记者记者Ben Jacobs表示：“据了解，这三家足联希望因凡蒂诺辞职，并给予他一个有尊严的选择，即在明年3月不再竞选国际足联主席。所有选项都摆在桌面上，包括抵制FIFA赛事。三家足联已开始初步讨论，探讨在找到解决方案期间，自行组织赛事以确保球员有比赛机会的可能性。”
但是，也有很多足协公开支持因凡蒂诺，他们包括：阿根廷，摩洛哥，卡塔尔，民主刚果，墨西哥，吉布提，阿联酋，毛里塔尼亚，科威特，尼日尔，斯里兰卡，印度尼西亚，黎巴嫩，不丹，蒙古，菲律宾，埃及，冈比亚，巴拉圭，孟加拉国。
除了阿根廷之外，最受瞩目的就是墨西哥。据悉，这是因为因凡蒂诺向墨西哥承诺，若他能够继续当选国际足联主席，将协助墨西哥脱离中北美洲及加勒比海足协，加入南美足联。
墨西哥媒体报道称，墨西哥足协与中北美及加勒比海足联的关系极其糟糕，双方已经很久无法坐到同一张桌前沟通了。墨西哥足协支持现任中北美及加勒比海足联主席的对立候选人，而中北美及加勒比海足联在官方公告中刻意不提墨西哥。
