2026年WTT瑞典大满贯丨女单1/32决赛，覃予萱3-2伊藤美诚晋级，五局比分：【7-11，11-3，14-12，4-11，11-9】。这场比赛覃予萱在大比分0-1落后的情况下连赢两局，伊藤拿下第四局后进入抢五，最终覃予萱在抢五大战锁定胜局。
这场比赛的决胜分后25岁的伊藤美诚输到摇头尬笑，她的失误是导致失利的关键，尤其是好不容易追到7-8，随后又两个失误7-10落后，覃予萱手握三个赛点，伊藤美诚追到9-10，最终还是覃予萱拿下决胜分。
这场比赛覃予萱的场外教练是任浩，因为这场比赛覃予萱是逆风球所以任浩的脸上一直都非常严肃，直到最后覃予萱拿下胜利他的眉头才松快了一些。
此役更是有多位国乒的小将在场边观看，视频能看到的都有王晓彤、姜依依、朱梓予、韩菲儿，她们这次来除了当陪练还有就是长见识。覃予萱19岁已经成为国家队一队的主力了。
赛后覃予萱表示：去年大满贯击败伊藤美诚，今年知道第一轮要打她所以做了很多功课，而且今年自己整体实力明显进步了，以后要多拿积分以种子签位这样就能打更多的比赛。
25岁的伊藤美诚就惨了，她世界排名已经跌至第17位是日乒第五巨头在她前面是：张本美和、早田希娜、大藤沙月、佐藤瞳四人，虽然她入选了亚运会名单，可亚锦赛的名单她应该是没希望了。
25岁的伊藤美诚已经肉眼可见的苍老了，WTT横滨冠军赛首轮游、WTT瑞典大满贯首轮还都是输给国乒选手，她整个2026赛季最好成绩也只有16强，她如果亚运会没有高光表现，那么她应该就要淡出日乒主力阵容了。
