曝威尔-巴顿加盟森林狼教练组 负责球员发展方面的工作

北京时间8月4日，据《体育画报》记者查理-沃尔顿的报道，前丹佛掘金锋线球员威尔-巴顿将在2026-27赛季加入森林狼教练组，担任球员发展方面的职位。
上赛季，巴顿担任明尼苏达森林狼G联赛附属球队爱荷华狼队的助理教练，同时也参与了森林狼在2026年NBA夏季联赛期间的相关工作。
此次任命将让巴顿与森林狼篮球运营总裁蒂姆-康奈利再次合作。康奈利此前在将他带到掘金期间发挥了重要作用。2015年2月，当时担任掘金总经理的康奈利通过一笔涉及阿隆-阿弗拉罗的交易，从波特兰开拓者手中得到巴顿。随后八个赛季，巴顿一直效力于掘金，并逐渐成长为球队重要的得分手和轮换球员。
巴顿在2012年NBA选秀大会中于第二轮第40顺位被波特兰开拓者选中，职业生涯总共出战679场常规赛。
他的NBA生涯最终场均得到11.2分、4.1个篮板和2.7次助攻，曾效力于开拓者、掘金、华盛顿奇才以及多伦多猛龙。他最后一次NBA出场是在2022-23赛季。
