斯宾塞-琼斯谈续约心路历程：保持心态平稳 一切都可能瞬息万变

北京时间7月30日，掘金前锋斯宾塞-琼斯谈到了这个休赛期与球队续约的心路历程。值得一提的是，雷霆今夏为琼斯开出2年1200万合同报价，掘金随后选择匹配，双方已正式完成续约。
琼斯对此感慨万千：“我的自由球员身份终于结束了，整个过程比我预想的要漫长得多，也更让人精神疲惫。在长达25天时间里，我每天都要和经纪人通电话，与各支球队的总经理面对面会谈，还要应对数不胜数的传闻。”
“过程中有四点让我印象深刻——第一，要保持心态平稳，所有事都可能瞬息万变。一支周一还全力追求你的球队，到了周三可能就悄无声息。而你从未接触过的球队，却会突然带着潜在报价找上门来。
第二，合同年限有时与薪资同样重要。纵观整个职业生涯，收获大合同的机会屈指可数。很多因素会影响你下一次签合同，并带来数百万的差别。
第三，别停下训练工作。在谈判的大部分时间里，我都在丹佛训练基地，和那些正在决定是否留住我的人一起训练。第四，在正式签约前，别计划你的假期。”
