Scotto：太阳裁掉并重签海史密斯目的是节约奢侈税

北京时间8月18日，据HoopsHype记者Michael Scotto透露，太阳之所以先裁掉海伍德-海史密斯，然后有迅速将其签回，是出于节省奢侈税的考虑。
“从本质上来说，这件事最终主要是为了帮助太阳节省一些奢侈税支出。而对于海伍德-海史密斯来说，当我报道他被裁掉之后，显然有很多球队都询问了他的情况，因为他是一名3D球员，能够帮助很多具备季后赛竞争力的球队，”Michael Scotto在PHNX Suns播客节目中说道。
“考虑到目前自由球员市场的情况，这件事确实让人感到有些意外，但他最终还是回到了太阳。而且很显然，如果你是太阳，除非你觉得自己想要调整阵容，或者准备以一份更加合理的合同把他重新签回来，否则你不会轻易放走这样一名球员。所以到目前为止，双方都很满意彼此之间的适配程度。”
海史密斯在太阳仅仅出战了7场比赛，场均上场13分钟，可以得到5.4分和1.9个篮板。
