“早就内定阿根廷夺冠” 埃及足协正式向FIFA申诉:要求调查主裁判

7月8日凌晨，世界杯1/8决赛焦点之战，卫冕冠军阿根廷3-2击败埃及队。赛后，埃及足协向国际足联提起申诉，要求严查本场比赛的主裁判，并要求国际足联做出对应的解释。
这场比赛，埃及队的战术非常成功。利用犀利的反击，他们让阿根廷队踢得很艰难。前75分钟，埃及队2-0领先，几乎铁定拿下胜利。不过，阿根廷队随后大逆转，连进3球，最终3-2淘汰了埃及。
不过，阿根廷的这场胜利有着诸多争议--主裁判做出了多次不利于埃及队的争议判罚，比如取消埃及队的进球、无视了萨拉赫在对方禁区内的倒地。赛后，大量中立球迷看不下去，批评裁判是带着任务来执法比赛。
埃及队的主帅公开炮轰国际足联：“比赛中有超越比赛的因素在发生作用，那就是商业营销，他们想让梅西留下。”此外，埃及队的前锋齐库则强调国际足联一直在保送阿根廷：“恭喜阿根廷，看样子他们又要夺冠了。”
西班牙媒体《阿斯报》透露，埃及足协已经正式向国际足联提起了申诉，投诉法国籍主裁判莱特西耶及其裁判团队。埃及足协要求国际足联就比赛中的争议判罚做出解释，并请求对所有的争议判罚进行调查，并禁止莱特西耶执法后续的比赛。
埃及前国脚穆罕默德-阿布特里卡抱怨：“我们要同时对抗梅西、国际足联、阿根廷以及裁判？我们只是想要公平。”
